Besides the title insurance premium that you buy at closing there are other fees that are part of closing as well.
These fees are regulated by the State and therefore cannot differ from title company to title company:
Title Insurance Premium- based on sales price and or loan amount
Lender Endorsements – $300
Closing Protection Letter -$125
Recording Fees: Mortgage $125-$200 Deed $100-$125
Transfer Taxes: Generally 2% split equally between the buyer and seller ( there are some counties, townships or cities that have higher amounts)
